About Your Appointment
What Happens at Your Appointment?
-
Please aim to arrive about 5 minutes before your appointment time. This will let us complete a few pieces of administration…
-
I will ask you a few basic questions regarding your health and COVID.
-
Together we will complete a health assessment for you, or update one you already have on file with me, to make sure the treatment is suitable for you.
-
For some massages, such as the Indian Head Massage, you can remain fully clothed. But for most other massages you’ll change into your chosen clothing — I suggest bringing a pair of shorts, or using a modesty gown I provide. I’ll give you privacy to do this.
-
You relax into fluffy soft towels while I give you your massage, maintaining your privacy and modesty at all times.
-
After your massage you will have time to refocus and rebalance. We can also discuss future treatments and arrange one if you wish.

Please note that my treatment room is upstairs, on the first floor of my house. If you have difficulty managing stairs please let me know, and we can discuss if together we can make alternative arrangements.
COVID & General Health Precautions:
Keeping Us Both Safe
COVID restrictions in England were removed from March 2022. However, it is still sensible to take various precautions. This is for your protection, my protection and that of my other clients.

If you have any cold-like or flu symptoms, or believe you may have COVID, please do not attend your appointment. Instead, contact me to let me know and we will rearrange it for when you have recovered.
What I Ask of You

-
Don’t arrive too early for your appointment — I need to sanitise and ventilate my treatment room between clients. If possible, aim to arrive at most 5 minutes before the time of your appointment.
-
You’re welcome to bring a face mask with you to wear during your massage if you wish. The choice is yours.
-
Bring a bottle of water with you should you wish.
-
Please pay me using contactless payment or by card if possible.
What I Will Do

-
I operate on an appointment-only basis to keep clients separate to minimise risk.
-
I hold a certificate award in infection control for COVID-19 and will continue to clean and ventilate the room between clients.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible — ideally please give me at least 48 hours notice so I can try to give your appointment slot to another client.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or rearrange your appointment I will contact you by phone, text message or email as appropriate and give you as much notice as possible.

Please remember that there’s only myself working in my business as a Registered Massage Therapist, so very occasionally I might need to rearrange appointments — for example, if I'm unwell or there is a family emergency.
